   Taking Care of Rainwear
With proper care, your rainwear can provide protection against the elements and remain comfortable for
a long time.
   ::: Washing
Caring for your rainwear is quite simple. Just hose off dirt while wearing it. If the rainwear is badly soiled, lightly rub clean the dirty spots with a cloth dampened with diluted, mild detergent.
Please do not machine wash or tumble dry rainwear.
Leaving your rainwear damp or wet after use could cause mold and bad odor. Dry rainwear and leave it in a well-ventilated place out of sunlight. It would be better to leave the rainwear on a hanger rather than stowing it away in a drawer.
   :::Restoring water repellency
If your rainwear’s water repellency fades over time, it can be virtually restored using any commercially available water repellent. Spray on the water repellent from a distance of around a foot in well-ventilated location to ensure even application.
   ::: Zipper care
Extended use can cause the zippers to snag. To improve their movement, rub candle wax on the teeth. Water repellent spray is also effective. There are also sprays formulated for zippers.

   Cautions & Tips for Rainwear Care
   :::Storage & cleaning
Rainwear may become damaged if left wet in a hot and humid place over extended periods. Please observe the following rules.

- Do not store in a car trunk.
- Never leave rainwear wet after use.
- Clean and dry rainwear after use.
- Avoid exposing rainwear to pesticides and chemicals.
   :::Washing & drying
After use, clean your rainwear and hang it to dry in the shade. When thoroughly dry, store rainwear out of exposure to sunlight.

- Avoid exposure to sunlight as its ultraviolet rays may damage the material.
- Never machine wash or dry.
   :::Usage cautions
- Avoid excessively stretching or scuffing the material. It may tear or wear through.
- Avoid exposure to open flames. It may cause the material to melt or even burn.
